Cincinnati Public Library System
With about 40 locations in the Cincinnati/Hamilton County area, there are several locations nearby. The Corryville branch is the closest at 2802 Vine St. The library is housed in a Renaissance Revival building built in 1907. Slightly farther away is the Clifton branch, housed in a remodeled grand, old home at 3400 Brookline Ave. The Main Library in downtown Cincinnati (800 Vine Street) includes the normal library sections and in addition has rotating and permanent exhibits in the main foyer and the interactive MakerSpace where numerous machines can be used for free in the creative process. The pick-up window at 9th and Walnut is a wonderful benefit of the downtown location. Reserve your books online, pick them up at the window no matter the weather! Take Liberty to Walnut and turn R at 9th street; pick-up window is on the left of the one-way street.
To get a free library card take a valid picture ID and address verification to any branch or apply online. If you are an educator or homeschool parent you can qualify for an Educator card which has several benefits, including no late fees and automatic renewals.

Campbell County Libraries
If you are a resident of Hamilton County and have a valid Cincinnati Public Library card you can apply for a Campbell County Library card. The closest branch is just across the river in Newport at 901 East 6th Street, Newport, KY. Be sure to take your Cincinnati library card in addition to address verification as proof.
Boone County Libraries
Like the Campbell County Libraries, you can acquire a library card for the Boone County Libraries. They frequently have interesting exhibits (check out their main page for the latest) and activities at their Main Library at 1786 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY. You will need your Cincinnati library card as proof, in addition to other verification, or your checkout limit will be 3 items.
Kenton County
Like the Boone and Campbell County Libraries, Hamilton county residents can acquire a library card for the Kenton County Library system. The nearest branch is location in Covington, KY at 502 Scott Boulevard.
