After comparing the other more popular stores, l visited the website of Discount Tire, chose them as “my store,” then called and got acquainted with Mike, the manager, and ended up saving better than $100 on a similar set of tires that l was interested in earlier. (In favor of Konen’s Pitstop, I’d like to note that I have received good service and, in my estimation, honest evaluations of my vehicle’s needs. The prices seemed reasonable and the owner Rob was a nice guy to deal with, without the scare tactics that you get in some car repair shops (i.e. “your tires will fall off and your engine will blow up if you don’t get X, Y, and Z fixed now”). It’s just down the street from a Kroger, Big Lots, Goodwill, etc. so if it’s something quick, you could potentially get some shopping done or grab a bite to eat while you wait.

(Our HVAC guy we use here at school name is Len Short. He has a cousin, Danny Freeman, who has a shop out Columbia Parkway just on the edge of Milford. I have started using him and he seems to be very honest, which Len claims he is. He did some a/c work on my car for me and charged about half what Konan’s do. He is on Ferry St right off Columbia Parkway. You can tell him you are from God’s Bible School. – Cordell Replogle)
