The Springs
The Springs is a 150-acre Christian donation based retreat center approximately 55 miles from campus in Oldenburg, Indiana. Four comfortable family cabins each feature a small kitchen, living room, loft with 2 twins, bedroom with queen, bedroom with two twins, and one full bathroom. Walking trails, community garden, lake, outside play equipment, fire pit, grills – all make for a restful setting to get away from the hectic life of campus living. Ohio

 Innkeeper Ministries
Just outside of Lewisburg, Ohio, northwest from Dayton, Ohio, near I-70. The Manor is situated on 71 acres of land surrounded by beautiful and serene woods, walking paths and ponds. The facility is designed to provide a tranquil setting for couples, to enjoy God’s good pleasure. Each of the three suites includes a bedroom, complete bathroom and setting room. The kitchen, dining room and downstairs recreational room are shared. There are jogging and walking paths throughout the acres of woods and around the ponds, which are stocked with bass and catfish. There is a swimming pool and a basketball court available for your use during the summer. For evenings in, there are DVD /VCR, ping-pong and pool tables and a modest library (you may want to bring your own videos and games). During the summer, weather permitting you can build a campfire outside. A prayer chapel and gardens have been added to the property. The chapel is designed for intimate worship and respite and is available 24/7. The ministry does not allow children except for nursing babies upon request.

 Michigan

 Beulah Land Retreats
Located near Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Michigan. This guest house is around 1100 sq. feet and includes two bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and living room. Christian Leaders are able to reserve this guest house for up to a two week stay, free of charge. There is a 2nd lodging option if the first is booked, though there is a small charge to help maintain it. 

Cran-Hill Ranch Prayer Cabin 
Located north of Grand Rapids, MI, this cabin is for ministry leaders and their wives.  

Wolfe Bay Retreat 
Located in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Wolfe Bay Retreat offers a ministry discount and a greater discount for pastors and missionaries.

North Carolina 

Draw Nigh Ministries 
Located in Pinehurst, NC, Draw Nigh Ministries is East of Charlotte and SSW of Raleigh. This ministry offers  no-cost  accommodations for pastors, evangelists, and missionaries, their wives and children (up to 4 due to space limitations).  

Lifeway Ridgecrest Conference Center  
Located in Ridgecrest, NC, just east of Ashville in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Ridgecrest Conference Center offers discounted lodging for bi-vocational pastors and those in full-time Christian ministry. 

Promise Land Farm 
A part of Genesis Seminars, Promise Land Farm provides free retreats for pastors, missionaries, and those in ministry, at their cabin in Rutherfordton, NC.
 

Pennsylvania

 AirBNB near Lebanon, PA 
Owned by GBS board chairman Robbie England and his wife, Rachel, this property is being offered to GBS employees (and their families) at no cost. The Englands have also offered to cover the gas costs to and from their AirBNB. They would like to offer this for families to enjoy a short getaway. This is a way of them blessing the employees of GBS (this includes Academy) and since they are well aware of what it is like to live in the spotlight 24/7, as a Bible School employee, they would like to provide this on a monthly basis.

NOTE: The location is 495 miles from GBS and would take about 7 hours and 45 minutes.

Tennessee

Chalet Retreat Ministries 
Located in Roan Mountain, TN. There are eight chalets that sleep from 1-2 people up to 7 people. Some overlook the waters of Tiger Creek while others provide a view of mountains. Each unit has a kitchen equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, cookware, utensils, etc. The Chalet Retreat is a ministry and for that reason, fees are kept as low as possible to make it affordable to those it serves. 

Tuckaleechee Retreat Center
Located about 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge and 45 minutes from Gatlinburg, TN. They have one cabin they reserve for those in full time ministry and charge (I think) $45 per night. It’s a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with washer and dryer, hot tub on porch and access to the pool at one of the lodges. At the bottom of the hill there is a stables where you can rent horses for a trail ride and also Tuckaleechee Caverns, so you don’t even have to leave town to find things to do. They don’t advertise this ministry price so you will need to call them and ask about it. The only cabin for this price is Hemlock Haven, so you first check the availability for that cabin, then call and ask for the full-time ministry rate.

Lighthouse Christian Camp 
Lighthouse Christian Camp, east of Nashville, TN,  has a low cost Pastors Retreat Home specifically for pastors and their families. (If you discover this is open to more ministry personnel please let us know!) See this FAQ document for more specifics.

Christian Pastor Retreat 
This retreat, catering to Pastor and Missionary families, is located 100 miles north of Knoxville, TN, near the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. They have a low cost of $25 per night or $150 per week. (If you discover this is open to more ministry personnel please let us know!)

West Virginia

Faith Mountain
Located in the Central Lakes Region of West Virginia. Faith Mountain is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian retreat consisting of 235 beautiful wooded acres in the Central Lakes Region of West Virginia. There are miles of walking, hiking, mountain biking trails and a 2 and 1/2 acre pond for guests to enjoy. They currently have 3, 2-bedroom cottages and a larger 7 bedroom 2 story guest house (Cedar House). Each location has a air-conditioning, fully equipped kitchens (stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils), and a fire pit with a grate for those relaxing campfire meals. The two bedroom cottages, sleep 7, and are completely furnished with a gas fireplace, whirlpool bath and two queen-sized beds upstairs, a queen sofa-bed in the living room and a loveseat/single bed in one of the upstairs bedrooms. All cottages have a wooded setting with a private back porch with a great view, and a hammock.
